Still no Dragons so far this year, had hoped to catch a glimpse before we had 2 weeks in the Caribbean, but no luck. Likewise in Barbados there were hardly any insects in evidence there other than Sand Flies and Mosquitos which, as usual took a liking to any exposed skin.

Decided not to take an SLR with me just my Canon G12 Compact ( good for landscapes and Macro) which performed well until I dropped it on a tile floor (never falls onto a shag pile carpet I notice). When moved you can now hear the broken bits bouncing around inside the body. It still takes good pictures but the flash has stopped working and a couple of other buttons have ceased to function.

In the absence of any Dragon Pics here are a few Caribbean shots with my wounded Canon.

Hope to get out and about at the weekend and finally catch a glimpse of a Dragon. General consensus down here in the far south west is that everything is about a month behind so not expecting too much.
